Leeds-based investment firm, Winch & Co, invests over £180,000 into its North East warehousing and industrial site.
Winch & Co have made a commitment to the North East with an investment of over £180,000 into its industrial site in Cramlington. This is part of a wider ‘investment and consolidation’ plan for 2023 – 2024. The work included refurbishment of key warehouse areas, office accommodation and a firewall to create additional commercial space.
The company is currently working with Northumberland County Council to commercialise the site further, increasing their investment in the area. The plan is to grow the site and increase trade in the area, which is a known hub for national distribution, manufacturing and retail businesses.
Nathan Winch, Chief Executive at Winch & Co, commented, “We are really proud of our operations in the North East. As one of our profit centres, we believe we can drive further growth to the business through accretive investment, as well as helping our stakeholders, who are also valuable members of the local area. We expect works to be completed by the end of summer.”
