An established North East-based warehousing and road haulage company offering a range of specialist distribution services via a built up fleet of fully liveried vehicles, as well as offering bonded warehousing and storage services, specialising in paper products, to long-term UK and international clients. Now offering a much wider range of services to clients across the UK including time-critical deliveries, abnormal loads, express and ADR.
The company struggled against the tumultuous property and financial markets in 2022-23, as well as the insolvency and subsequent collapse of its largest tenant and customer, Communisis. Winch & Co engaged creditors to restructure debts and reposition the business, successfully discharging the vast majority of debts through the disposal of underutilised, costly assets and exiting insolvency with the introduction of new capital – now on a path of positive growth, having acquired Patrick Logistics in September 2024.
Winch & Co acquired DTS in April 2022.
