Browns Timber Buildings was founded by its owners Chris & Sue Brown. Established in 2006, they design and build high-quality, bespoke timber structures for both domestic and commercial use across the UK.
Winch & Co acquired the company in October 2021, investing heavily in the turnaround of the business to restructure legacy debts with HMRC and tertiary lenders, saving the business from default – preventing insolvency and subsequently preserving jobs.
The company was later sold in September 2025 to Fowlds Cooke Group.
